Just thought I would add my zombie novel in this forum. M.D.(Morgue of the Dead) is now available for $1.99 from Smashwords until xmas.....Why not buy it!!!

Jasper's ability to move among the infected wasn't really explained. Joe McKinney mentions different stages of infection in the book. I think that he must have been in a really advanced stage, as you said. That's the only explanation I could think of. I kept waiting for that to be revealed. Perhaps it will be in the next book in April. Fingers are crossed.

why the hell was Jasper able to move about the infected? Was he in some advanced stage of infection that helped him control peoples feelings or what?

I am half way thru Apocalypse of the Dead and not only twice as long as the first book, it is twice as good. Anyway, here is a recent facebook post from Permuted Press that should interest most of you:
