I'm reading "The Strain" now, a vampire novel by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan. So far so good! I also picked up the sequel and plan to read it as soon as I finish the first one. The third comes out sometime in 2011.

I have read The Dead and loved it. Yes, the artwork in that was very cool! It's not often that a kick ass writer is also a kick ass artist. What did you think of it?

Hey Robert Elrod! Have you read The Dead yet? I know it has been discussed here a few times, but i was looking at the art work in it that the author did, and was wondering if you had checked it out.

I really enjoyed Apolcalypse of the Dead as well. After that I read Play Dead by Ryan Brown, which if you enjoy football and zombies and campy b horror movies then that book is for you. Now I am reading The Estuary by Derek Gunn so I am really on a zombie kick lately. After that (as of now) it will be Day By Day 2 then Beware by Richard Laymon.

Just finished reading "The Changed" by B.J. Burrow and really dug it. It's an Apex book. Read it on my Nook. My one complaint is that when Apex reissued the book they had a new cover (much cooler than the original) but that didn't come with the epub file. I know I shouldn't be complaining about that but, as an artist, I'd prefer to see the newer image with the book. Okay, go ahead and laugh.
