What are you reading? What have you read?

Is there a certain zombie book or short story that blew you away? I have read some cool stories on this site so what are you guys reading to inspire you? I love most all zombie novels. Even the crappy heavily flawed self published stuff. Tell me!

Scatoma, thanks for the heads up about Peter Cline's Ex-Heroes contest. If I can find some time, I'm going to take a stab at an illustration of one of his heroes. I'll have to reread the book to find the descriptions, though. It's been a while since I first read it.

I read Maberry's Rot & Ruin last week. When I picked it up I hadn't realized that it was a YA novel. In the end, it didn't affect my enjoyment of the book. Good stuff.

Got a copy of Bowie's Down the Road. I think I'm going to read that next. I've heard only good things about it.

Heading out to Seattle next week for Emerald City Comic Con to show/sell some of my self-published comics and artwork. For those of you who are into comics, I would recommend checking out Ben Templesmith's Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse books. They're filled with wry humor and undead goodness. He's also a helluva nice guy.

I was just telling what all I remember of this tragedy to Kas the other day, I haven't seen this book before, let us know about it for sure Bota. Forward by Kirk Hammett, cool.

I know most of you have not read Ex-Heroes yet but you just have to ok. The author Peter Clines is doing a contest to win autographed copies of it and the upcoming sequel Ex-Patriots. You have to draw or paint a pic of one the superheroes. Guys these characters are badass and sexy and just fuck zombies up like you wouldn't believe. I cannot wait for the sequel. Anyway I draw like an actual zombie so I am not even gonna try, but I know some you are excellent artists so read up and give it a try.

I guess you will have to be his friend on facebook to read about it. Maybe thru Permuted Press' website, I will check

The extra like 20 seconds that was cut out of Robocop actually makes a difference in the way the movie makes you feel. The ED209 scene at the beginning when that guy gets shot for only like 2 or 3 more seconds, but it so awesome! When Red Forman kills Murphy with his gang it is so much more brutal. Plus the commentary with Paul Verhoeven is priceless.

it has now been reported many of Borders employees checks have been bouncing this weekend. This is really awful.

here is what you do Bota2112, go figure out what books you want and find a badass hiding spot for them. Check in often for the best clearance sale and buy them then. The spot must be good though. Under shelves, put in the jacket of some stupid christian romance hardback, etc.

Must know what Dawn of the Dreadfuls is David. Also have you read any other Maberry books?

Been Awhile, BUt I'm still Alive

Greetings Everyone,    Well it's been awhile. As things go, life carries us all in different directions from time to time but you always find your way home sooner or later. Well, life ain't all fun and games, but right now, things are going good. I have restarted my writing on my book again, and as I learn more about about some of the ROle-playing games I have gotten into, I am seriously thinking about rying to create an actual Zombie Survival Role-playing game. But have not set any time…
