i like the video. really nice. but a bit of advice when it comes to your spikes. cut the length down some. the beauty about a spiked war club is a union of trauma with sharp spikes. if you make your spikes around a 1 and a 1/4 inch in length. then you will see the results you want. skull crushing trauma with spike damage to the brain. this is something i took to a welder to have made re-enforced for me and its shows about what the size of the spikes should be at to do the trick. anything longer can as you experienced, be either damaged or dug in so deep, that retrieval can also be an issue to safety. these spikes are exactly 1 and 1/4 inch in length. and when i got testing the welds on a bull skull. this showed way better results and little to no retrieval time.
