We regret to inform you that Spc Damien Case lost his life while conducting urban reclaimation operations earlier this week.
The United States Army unfortunately is unable to provide specific details of his death pending the ongoing investigation that led to the deaths of Spc Case and all involved personnel of the operation.
Specialist Case served as an infantryman in various units during the five years he served with the Army. During that time, he participated in multiple operations while deployed to Siberia before being reassigned to partake in evacuation operations in the United States. Afterwards Spc Case was one of the soldiers tasked with securing and clearing locations vital to the survival of this nation.
He has no known surviving relatives.
A memorial service will be held to honor Spc Case and all the other fallen members of his unit. Check the daily reports for date and time to attend.
