YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!
Why is that sometimes the best movies have the worst movie posters and vice versa? What are the best zombie movie posters of all time, or the worst for that matter? I list my five favorites, the one I think is the most lazy and boring of all time, here at my blog... The Top…Continue
I posted the original version of May Be Side Effects here more than a year ago. Then last October, I submitted it for a Halloween screening in London where all of the films had to be under six minutes long. And at 6:48, it was way too long!
I eventually got it down to five minutes and fifty-four seconds. The new, shorter, version has been shown at a couple of screenings - including the Halloween screening which prompted me to cut it down in the first place - where it…Continue
Single Zombie Female is the webcomic I created with artist Jenny Mathews. Working with an artist who can draw the human form in any level of decomposition is a blast. I hope you'll go to my blog and check out the other episodes. Also, I'm going to try to lure you to my blog by tempting you with a Zombie…Continue
Don't like bats as a Melee weapon? Well see this picture, this is a crash axe and if you've worked for an airport or in the military around aircraft, you know what it it, it's a crash axe. Made to cut through metal, so people can be rescued from buring or crashed (they don't always burn) aircraft, imagine what this would do to say... a Zombies skull or limbs? It's all metal construction with a grippable, rubberized handle. So if one is sweating, it's not easy to drop. Another good Melee…Continue
Humans Versus Zombies is another of the truly epicly bad zombie movies. Terrible acting, barely any SFX and it's based on a game created by College students that seems far more fun that this disjointed mess of a movie. Just bad in every way, it's garbage like this that hurts the world of Zombie films.
You know how some Vid boxes have the misleading title of "One of the Greatest Zombie Movies ever" and "Best Zombie movie of the year?" on em. So you grab one, run home and then (if your fortunate) don't want to kill everyone involved with it? Well, Breakfast at the Manchester Morgue, aka Let Sleeping Corpses Lie aka Don't Open the Window (the heavily edited US version) doens't lie. This, directed by Jorge Grau, and the first post-Night of the Living Dead zombie film from Europe, is certainly…Continue

Just finished watching "THE DEAD". On the cover of the box it claims this is "The best zombie movie of the year", well I can say this. It was better than any zombie movie on the Scifi (I refuse to use the new lame name) or Chiller, but not by much. Quick review - it's about a US Military guy whose plane (a DC3 which I found kind of silly) trying to escape Africa where the dead are rising. His plane crashes and he spends the film ... well that would tell too much. The SFX are decent, the…Continue
