I've read now, several times that Blonkamp and Peter Jackson both "refuse to touch Halo with a ten foot pole." lol I've heard this already. I think someone else signed on to do it and it's supposed to follow a team, with MC in the works somewhere. I doubt it will happen though. It keeps getting cancelled. I have a feeling it'll be 3 or 4 years before there is a movie.

Wikipedia has it announced for 2012. I've read here and there that it's not going to be about the MC. That would SUCK. I want a MC movie for sure, following him and Cortana. Maybe I'm damn picky, but I don't seem to be alone in this. I can't even get into the campaign because it's just not the same without MC. We are still on the 5th or 6th level.

I am hoping that the guy who did the short action film, Neil Blonkamp, directs. I LOVED DIstrict 9. It was so great. I can't wait for the next one. Didn't Peter Jackson produce District 9? I think another awesome prospect would be Guillermo del Toro to direct!

I don't know about people playing the master chief...I love the Bale but I don't know if he could do it without being too serious. The master chief has some humor to him that I haven't felt in a while from Bale. Or Cortana??  Who would play Cortana? That's an interesting thought. It should be someone amazing, but they'd probably pick an Olivia Wilde type. I mean, she's hot and all, but I would hope for someone more seasoned.
