hi lady wolf. sorry forthe late reply but i just got my internet back up. the Hydra-Shoks and Cor-Bons are no different in prices here in Ohio. but i have a question for you. when you say you are selling it, do you mean the handgun? if so may i make a recomendation? reinvest the funds in or trade it on a SPRINGFIELD ARMORY XD9. i have one of these myself and they are an excelent hand gun. i carry the service model. it has a 4 inch barrel and comes with two 16 round clips. in this reply i posted 2 pictures of this weapon. one is of the gun itself and the other is of what comes with the gun. also you might want to consider getting a 9mm versus the .40s&w. reason being that the 9mm round is way easier to find and less expensive then the .40s&w round. and easier to control to for most women.

for a 40 cal and a 45 acp i recomend the use of a 155 grain JHP. this bullet is a good all around man stopper that is not as heavy as the 165 grain but has more impact then a 135 grain bullet. also along with Cor-Bon, you might want to try Hydra-shoks. i use these in a 9mm and love them and have a better impact then Cor-Bons due to the design of the bullet.

its not the fluted barrel that is the problem. its the bulk surplus ammo. ammo made in britian and china dont always cycle even in the best of guns. remingtons are by far the better bet when it comes to ammo and a semi auto. also another good brand or 2 is bear and wolf brand ammo. try those types and tell me what happens. i think you will be pleased with the results.
