The Walking Dead Video Game?

Your guess is as good as anybody else but there is a lot of buzz going around that the phenomenon created by Robert Kirkman that has already expanded and impressed television viewers all over the world, very well could be attempting to expand to another medium, gaming consoles. The website 1up.com, a video game site, reports that they received an invitation to a Telltale Games event in San Francisco taking place on Thursday, February 17th. During the event Telltale plans on announcing five new multi-platform projects. Among them, says the invitation, is "one based on a just-launched property from the TV and comic book world whose popularity is changing life as some know it."
Just launched property from TV & COMIC BOOK? That’s pretty much a sealed deal that it’s THE WALKING DEAD, but don’t quote us on that if we are wrong! All signs point to a video game based off of the show however, might the stars lineup for this? Time will tell.

Damn bro! That's commitment. I'm with ya. Have you played either of the Dead Rising game Rhino?
I do hav mixed feelings. I love the series, but can't imagine a game of any real quality coming from it. Hard to beat what we already have. But hey I am down with keeping my hopes up even slightly forced.

what can i say? i LOVE THE WALKING DEAD series. i want every season on disk (which is on AMAZON by the way) and i want any games they put out of it. for me. this series is just under anything George A. Romero makes.

if thats the case they should make it an MMO, seeing as the comic book is ongoing. I can't see a Walking Dead video game with an end.

You are right. Not my style of game, but MMO makes most sense. Something like Mass Effect would be fun too. I could see it as an RPG like third person game.

that would make more sense. let you make your own avitar. improve skill levels. i think it would be more popular then Dead Frontier as far as MMORPG games go. but if they make it into say a PS3 or Wii game then i am equally as down for that. just imagine the Wii game. it would be a real workout using the melee weapons in the game. lol.

I want it too - I loved Left4Dead - would be great if it's story-driven action rather than just a bash & slasher. Chance to do things differently as well - maybe having missions which involve gathering supplies, building fortifications etc...
