LURPS-- WE have a serious need for LURPS!!!
Gotta have them. WE Marauders are LURPs' Main function is to seek out the enemy and inform HQ where to send the WHUPP-ASS Party. We also seek out other survivors and supplies which we will mark their local so that main party can find them.
We also find vehicles that can still be used. 4X4s are a plus. With road systems going to hell, we'll need all that we can get.
Helicoptors also run on gas. Find then at any airport or hospital.
But we can't do it alone Komrads!! Down in Arkansas and Louisiana, We Marauders are kept busy all the time. Restoring old military vehicles are hard.

Area Kommanders need to get their LURPS up and running A,S.A.P.!!
Lurps teams should be at least(4) people but no more then (8),
Small teams attract little attention.
Every one on team should be able to do at least (3) DIFFERENT JOBS
Each team should at least (1) Medic, (1) Mechanic MAESTRO, (1) Com Specialist and (1) Explosive expert. Every team member should be well versed in at least 3 kinds of Martial Art. Street Fighting abilities are a plus.
Team Members should know at least 5 different weapons. Pistols, Swords, Flame thrower ETC...
You'll never know what you find on side of the road
And they all should be good at living off the land. Denny's is no more.
If you have any rednecks in your command, ask them for help.
You might be surprised at what they can do.

its hard to get a LURP team going when i am the only one in my area that takes this serious enough to prepare for. ZOMBIES! no laughing matter. they will find out the hard way.

Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols, or LRRPs (pronounced "lurp"), were special small four to six-man teams utilized in the Vietnam War on highly dangerous special operations missions deep into enemy territory. From Wikipedia

They also had them in WWII in North Africa. The British 8th Army used them effectively well.
The German Afrika Korps also had their own LRRPs to seek out the enemy.
LRRPs are and always will long range scouts, weather in teams of four men or in scout cars in the middle of the desert.
LRRPs had the distinction of being able to operate behind enemy lines for long periods of time and not get caught!

Land navigation, survival, weapons knowlegede, intell gathering skills, fast moving, first aid knowledge,independant acting, cool headed, communication device knowledge (i.e. radio) if equipted with vehicles, mechanical skills reqiured. All traits needed for a good LRRP mission.
