Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Hey All,

I know we all have tons of different sites we visit to read either free books of even free comics...Thanks to our friends at Under the Flesh, which I am a fan of, I was also able to find a link that gives 100's of other free Webcomics...

There are two I have been reading that have really caught my eye...

The first one is Zombie Ranch, http://www.zombieranchcomic.com , The main character is a woman who runs a ranch...The livestock, well deadstock that they round up and gather are actual zombies...You'll have to read the comic in order to find out why in the hell someone would be round up zombies...Take a look...

The second one I am reading is called, Dead Winter, http://deadwinter.cc/ , it's a totally different style in comic art...But so far, I'm still reading it, it's pretty good...A lot of little side stories...Kind of reminds me of a George A. Romero Living Dead storyline...

I'm also looking into a couple of other zombie comics, but right now I'm working on the top two...And the link I am including at the bottom is the link to many online webcomics in which comes such a array of many comic reader's worlds, that you are bound to find one you will want to keep up with or even use as a distraction as we wait for the next installment of Under the Flesh...

Here you go, take a look and have a blast...And thanks to UTF staff, because I sure in the hell wouldn't have found the site if it wasn't for them...Give the site a look...There's tons of comics here and here is the site...

Have fun and enjoy....

The Zombie Hunters is one of my favorite zombie web comics, its a different take on zombies. The zombie virus here works a bit like in the walking dead where you can be infected, but virus remains dormant while your alive, then becomes active once your dead. Unlike in the waling dead however, everyone is not infected. You have to be exposed to bodily fluids like blood or saliva first.

infected persons aren't killed, instead they are given jobs as zombie hunters. they're the ones that go into the zombie infected areas to get supply's. This is done to protect the non infected and because infected people are treated like second class citizens. its a really smart and fun take on the zombie apocalypse.

the story follows one group of these infected zombie hunters as they fight zombies and discrimination alike. things get even cooler when,*spoiler alert* they find away to return one of the dead to half life. basically a super strong  zombie with human level intelligence that fights with our rag tag group of expendable's. It might just be that the zombies aren't what we think.

with over 650 pages its a great way to satiate our zombie lust.

This sounds like a exciting fast paced read.
I like when the zombie story has a interesting twist to it.

yeah this and romantically apocalyptic are my favorite american web comics right now.

Zombie hunters still going wooww.

yeah its really great, nice to see a web comic that keeps going. to many good ones die off early.

This would make a great movie or mini-series!

that would be the best thing ever i would binge watch the hell out of something like, better then fear the walking dead.

i just started dead winter and I've gotta thank you for turning me on to it. it is awesome i really love the art style too super cool. so i thought I'd post a little more info about it so people can see how awesome it is.

Dead Winter is a (mostly lighthearted) webcomic chronicling the Zombie Apocalypse from two points of view: Lizzie, an English major college student working as a waitress, and badass hitman Black Monday Blues. Monday becomes involved in a vendetta against his former employer, while Lizzie simply tries to survive; eventually the two story arcs merge. Other members of the cast include the optimistic medic Alice, Lou the fat Italian plumber, and Lizzie's jerkass of a former employer Frank. Secondary plots (mostly in the chapter epilogues) include Lizzie's fiance Trevor, and her cat Cuddles. You can find it here

Make sure you give us a review saint.

okay as soon as i'm caught up to the latest page.

i know i'm looking forward to more of this.

Capturing the tight atmosphere and sense of isolation, Remote #1: Dead Air brings the fear of being alone to unbridled levels. The premie knows exactly how to use its single location for maximum effect. With its first installment, “Remote” has the potential to grow into a suspenseful psychology thriller.

Remote #1

WRITTEN BY: Colin Mitchell

ART BY: Young Heller and David Wilson

PUBLISHER: Double Take Comics

PRICE: $2.50

RELEASE: Sept. 16, 2015

In 1966, while Evans County, Pennsylvania falls apart, there is a radio station that continues to air the emergency news during the zombie apocalypse. Though she doesn’t want to be there, Samantha Stanton has to single-handedly keep KBRF running throughout the night. Waiting for help to arrive, the walls outside are slowly being surrounded by the the living dead. As  Samantha tries to save lives outside, will someone eventually come inside and save hers?

Interestingly, Double Take Comics’ first wave of ten original books all take place within George A. Romero’s 1968 classic, “The Night of The Living Dead.” Colin Mitchell’s script uses the premise and plays around with the location and time period. Though the movie is referenced, Mitchell tells an original tale about how a day at work can suddenly turn into Hell. In Mitchell’s witty brand of humor, Samantha is treated like a low-level employee while her boss basks in the money.

In the their illustrations, artists Young Heller and David Wilson have crafted a simple character design for Samantha to represent the ‘60s. My favorite sequence is when Samantha has to put the lights back on. As the scene plays out with no dialogue, the dark shadows are used to heighten the suspense.
