Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Hey All,

Been thinking about creating a Survival starter pack the last few days, one that anyone can afford and can purchase at a reasonable price. I do have a partner that will be helping me on the creation of this pack. We believe we've come up with the basic starter to building your pack the way you want it. We believe it actually gives you a few necessary items in which you can build on, better then some of those packs on EBay and Amazon which are expensive and give you nothing but a bunch of shit.

I'm going to include the list of items that we have come up with to help others in building their survival packs and would like for you to give us your feedback on the items within the starter kit.

We want your feedback. If you like an item or if you don't like the item, give us the why would you take it out and what item you would replace it with. Just remember, this is a Starter Survival Kit, something you can add more items to based on your needs and your area. Let us know what you think....

The items within the Survival Starter Kit are.....
A simple green or black canvas shoulder bag
A flashlight
A Radio
A Can Opener
A first Aid Kit
A Canteen
A Space Blanket
A Mess Kit w/ Cutlery

Let us know what you think of it.

(In my opinion, it's a really good foundation in which one can have the basics in one purchase, but also gives one a simple ground base for building their own survival pack.)

No weapons were included in this pack because of the differences in views on what are the best weapons to carry. And we wish to keep that debate for another day...(LOL)

Anyways, please give us feedback on this starter kit...

THANKS

maybe add some water purification tabs and some toilet paper. Not a bad idea to grab a few protein bars (like weightlifters use)...4-500 calories and 20-30g protein in each one.

Remember partner, this is just a foundation kit. The tablets are a good little extra, but toilet paper and food would be something the person who purchased this product would add to it because of their own preference.

But I will agree toilet paper should be at least on thing you should add to a survival pack, unless you're planning on wiping with leaves or your hand...(LOL)

Thanks for the suggestion....Hope we get more feed back like this...

i would be apprehensive about adding protein bars for one reason. there is the whole nut allergy thing to consider. and a lot of them are peanut based for the reason of energy and protein. there is even allergies to coconut to consider for this very reason. plus there are other things that a protein bar has that may be a health problem for people with food allergies. so when it comes to the food part. its best to let the buyer put what they know for a fact they can eat in it. i do like the toilet paper idea versus the leafy idea. lol. puts me in mind of Daryl Dixon's story in season 2 of TWD where he talked about being lost in the woods as a kid and made the mistake of cleaning his butt with poison oak leaves and his itchy butt crack. lol. so TP would definitely be a nice add on for a person to consider adding. this also brings another good point of order as to why the person buying this pack may be the one to add this. not all people can use the same type of TP due to allergies to some processing methods. hence they would need a non-allergenic type of toilet tissue they can add to it. that is part of why i like Jessie's idea here. it gives so many options for the buyer. totally awesome idea here.
