Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Bloody-Disgusting writes: Texas Chainsaw Massacre/Skyline star Eric Balfour will be taking his talents outside of the acting arena as he'll be directing a live-action adaptation of Stephen Lindsay's Jesus Hates Zombies, writes TATM.

Michael Mongillo and Jason Alan Smith will be writing the screenplay for the Alterna Comics' series that has been one of the best-selling comics on Android since its debut in mid-2009.

"In a not so distant future, zombies have overrun the earth. Fearing for the future of humanity, God sends his son Jesus Christ to save humanity. Upon returning, he finds that his powers are greatly diminished as they are tied to others' faith in him. So he sets out to find the last remaining faithful and rally them to his cause.

Along the way he comes across various friends including Mother Theresa, Elvis Presley, a stripper named King, and a time traveling Abraham Lincoln, who brings his own problem along. Werewolves."

This movie sounds action packed and sure to have many zombie killing scenes!
Sounds cool and I liked Balfour in Skyline. I felt like he did a decent job in what was an okay kinda movie. I would watch for sure.
Jesus will save opur sould from those wicked zombies! Let the zombie slaughter begin!
It might work out in that Buba Ho-Tep kinda way. Where you first here the story line and you're like..."OK.." , but then when you see it, it could be the next cult classic.
