Those fun zombie stories.
Ok, yes I said “fun”, but they’re not really that fun, more like freaky.
I’ve been looking through a couple stories that people have brought up about certain persons displaying zombie-like behaviours in the past couple years. I’d heard the stories before, but being the person I am, I overlooked them. But overlook I shall no more. I posted a link to one such story yesterday, so I think that before you read any further, you should go check that out. Really. So, a couple people went all blood-thirsty on their room-mates and neighbours and stuff, biting at their heads and dismembering them, some even going to the extent of eating their vital organs. Now by the general theory of zombies, they would aim for the vital organs of their victims, eating them even when the victim is still alive (no one knows why). So I would say that these cases fall deep into the ‘zombie’ category. Here’s a contrary hypothesis though: mental disorder. People could just have been going crazy, nothing zombie about it. Maybe in their fit of craziness, they were fully convinced that they were zombies and so went about doing the regular zombie stuff. It’s a bit of a vague hypothesis though, but I’ll let you guys think about it. Another hypothesis is possession. I’m sure that a lot of you out there don’t really believe in demonic possession, but it is very possible, and when a demon does possess a human body, the possibilities of its actions are countless. These can include cannibalism. Besides, the persons’ inability to feel pain (as I’ve read in a few of the stories) could be because the body was in a catatonic state, caused by the possession. Anyway, I’ll leave that open for thought as well. The ultimate and most disturbing explanation there could be is that the dawning of the era of the undead is upon us. But let’s leave it as a last resort.
All in all, those stories freak me out. I’m gonna go study cell division now…

definitely. but we're gonna have the brains. and im not talking the super-genius, above average IQ, cerebral-textbook kinda gyus, i mean critical thinkers, the ones they thought were "just a bit crazy". heck im so prepared to take control :D lolz, but seriously, no amount of scientific, political, mathematical intelligence is gonna save us. its just my opinion, but our saviours are gonna be average people, with open minds and open hearts.

thats so much my outlook. when it comes to the sleep walkers. i to cant help but give the old fashioned "i told you so" into those smug faces. ;-) but when done, back to business. survival first. survival now. survival at all costs. when the dead rise. it will be a numbers game and they will have more.

yeah maybe you're right. and i think the thing is that people dont like being woken up. but when the time comes, those very haters would turn to us for help. i mean, ill help them, but ill so rub it in their faces, like I TOLD YOU SOOOO :P

i dont know about a dictatorship mentality. but it will definitely be those like us who will be leading the way and taking command when all hell rains down on peoples heads and be in need of us to give them a direction and purpose. i always termed the modern person as sleep walkers. they are content to sleep walk through life without a care in the world. and when they get forced to wake up. they have no idea what is going on around them and dont want to until their faces are forced right into the mess. so in all honesty. dont go so much the dictatorship state of mind but a firm leadership state of mind. be ready to take the lead at any given moment and any time. it will be the ones like us be it here in Wicked Zombies or sites like this and its people that will be the survivors and true leaders because we have had our eyes opened up to the zombie threat way before it hit. and thanks about letting me know about the typing error. i just get so keyed up talking to a like minded person that i tend to misspell badly. lol. i am surprised i didnt make more mistakes. lol. ;-)

well, in agreement to your opinion, i guess its time i get a dictatorship mentality, cuz i swear these people arent gonna survive the zombie attack without individuals like us. so i suppose it doesnt matter if they dont believe right now. btw you spelled corpse wrong...

if it is any comfort to you. age means poo poo. lol. i am 41 years old and when i point out something that is about to happen that has happened before. i get called all kinds of things from whacko, nut job, paranoid, conspiracy nut and some i dont even wanna repeat. lol. but in all honesty. age has nothing to do with it love. its people not wanting to hear or acknowledge what they hear. if its not a happy thing or something they feel relevant. its the nature of a human to stick their fingers in their ears like a 2 year old going LALALALALALALA. i know this is an unorthodox form of a comparison but very true. and something you will run into your whole life. and even more so on the subject of zombies. reason being the average person cant wrap their head around the idea of a dead body coming back to life and eating the living. then there is the idea of that dead body being one of their relatives and having to put that corps down again. hence what you seen in the original Dawn of the Dead by George Romero. the scene where the people put their dead relatives and friends in the basement instead of doing what needed to be done. this is a good and yet classic example of people not wanting to see what is when its right in front of them. this is also the very thing that will aid in the zombies overrunning things to. at least in my humble opinion.

i agree with the theory of history repeating itself. im a very observational person, and ive seen some stuff happen that gave me a sense of deja vu. stuff ive read about in history books, and in records that date back way before most of us were born. and this may not seem relevant, but even fashion, and what we may say is the new propaganda is similar to things of the past. my opinion: time revolves. and if thats the case, then we have some real bullshit to look forward to. u know, i really try to tell people, but i guess its cuz im so young that they dont listen.

dont just stop there if you do that. try to get your hands on other stuff like the Koran or the like. makes some good reading and cross referencing. you will find a lot of similarities that will make you wonder like me. DID THIS HAPPEN BEFORE? lol. i cant help but think it has and what they wrote way back when is a warning to us all that history can repeat itself. whats sad is todays times. people are so blind or oblivious to the past that it is almost certain to repeat as it so much often does. and anytime btw ;-)

well, looks like i have a bit of reading to do. especially the book of Revelations, cuz so many people have so many biased opinions on it, and i wanna try to understand what its telling us myself. thanx btw :P

i know this will sound nuts in every way. but i even found religious material to be a good source for information. just about every book in just about every religion describes a reunion between the living and the dead from voodoo, the Koran, even the King James Bible. i cant help but feel they warn us of these upcoming events because they happened before. like in the times of Jesus, Mohamed, Buddha, and so on. makes for an interesting read and if you are one to believe (and i put NOTHING to the way side). it could even send a chill down your spine. especially being the book of Revelations has predicted a lot of whats going on now a days. makes prepping that much more attractive. lol.
