This hypothesis seems too possible…

A colleague and I were discussing the idea of some Government creating a super-virus that could result in zombification (since right now Governments around the world are creating weapons that use biological materials). Now what we came up with is that the “super-virus” would be a cocktail of a few viruses that could enter somatic cells, reproduce, become infectious and also take over the brain cells. I thought a little about this idea, and I had a few conflicting thoughts about it (sorry, bro), but then I was studying biochemistry (class tomorrow) and I came across a line that stated: Many viruses have genomes of RNA instead of DNA. Then I remembered that scientists are now able to change genetic sequences, turning genes “on” or “off”. Then I put 2 and 2 together: scientists have the ability to alter the genetic sequences of certain retroviruses, changing their genotypes and therefore giving them characteristics that could make them so powerful that….. well, you know what happens next.
I think they should stop trying to build bio-weapons, because one day there would be a biohazard that they started, and that they would have no idea how to reverse.

yay! and tell your stepbros thanx for the intel, i really needed to know that. and you know, its so sad to think that all the chaos, the cataclysm coming in our futures, would be caused by members of our own race. its a very real, but sad, reality. but man do i feel smart :) no one ever really takes my intelligence into consideration.

BRAVO! you hit the nail on the head. i had the whole RNA/DNA thing in my notes for a long time now. i have just been waiting on that special someone to touch on it. my prayers have been answered. and NEVER apologize for conflicting thoughts. that is what brought you to discover what i had in notes all along and i am very pleased and proud of your progress. yes. RNA sequences can not only be turned on or off. they can also be fine tuned and added to or removed making the poison cocktail very lethal at best and a zombie virus more then possible. it can be made a horrifying fact for us all to see. and i still think (and still have that ugly gut feeling) that we are very close to a dark horizon approaching in our very near future. i also took the time to check out the link you posted. very nice. and also my thoughts exactly. reason being i had a couple of step brothers in the military. one went further then the other. the one that went the farthest confirmed all of this. yes. the military does viral research. in 12 hour shifts every day of the week. and even though they have those labs set up to burn in the event of a secured viral outbreak. the plans they have for a wide spread outbreak are even more horrifying. total sweep and clear. nothing lives. contaminated or otherwise. they cant and WONT risk losing control of a situation like that. and they dont want any ties to it either. so if push came to shove. the nuclear option would be implemented also. like in 2012, they will weigh out pros and cons. the initiate their final decision. and if its nuclear. they will round up all important bodies and burn the rest. US! you couldnt have hit this more on the head if you tried love.
