Wicked Zombies

ZOMBIE FANS YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

I'm new here, joined to make friends and to announce my book. I'd like to make new friends with people who have similar interests, in this case it's zombies. I actually just recently published my first book which is a zombie series. The first book is titled When The Dead Came, it's available through Createspace and Amazon, Amazon being an ebook while Createspace is a paperback. To begin, the story goes with a man made virus generated that gets out of control and spreads across the world. After the outbreak of the virus, the story follows a group of the main survivors who are in each series, occasionally, they will be killed off as well. The first book that's available isn't too long, at least 46 pages long, but the next books of my series are longer than the first one since the first just shows how it started and follows the survivors until they're split up.

First wrote this series some time ago, at least five or six years ago. I was orginially writing it as a moviescript, but turned it into a story instead. I don't know how it'll go on here, but from now on, I'll be writing more blogs in the form of a zombie apocalypse happening like I've seen before. But as one of my characters' view points from my series. Hope that's okay. For now, I'll leave it at that.

Ariana:

Welcome to the zombie-house!  Great to have another writer here.  We have a few.

I have four zombie books on Amazon encompassing two different series.  One is series is called "Books of the Dead" and includes "Sanctuary from the Dead" and "Lord the Dead."  (The third book, "Dead Man's Land" is in the editing and revision stages right now and should be out in a month or so.)  My other series is called "Forget the Zombies" and it is a little lighter.  It has two books, "Forget the Alamo" and "Forget Texas."  I'm writing "Forget America" right now and am at about 15,000 words.

Again, welcome.

Mermaid Zombies

Well, not exactly. My creative partner Jenny has done a series of mermaid illustrations that challenge the traditional image of a mermaid. They are all based on species of fish indigenous to bodies of water here in the Midwest. …

The Hang-Man's Tree

3......

A muffled crack echoed high up in the trees of the forest, two hundred yards to east a shambling mound of what was once a man dropped to the ground missing most of its head. Scanning the area and locating another target the cross hairs laid over the flesh eaters head. The barrel of the rifle followed the decayed thing for a second then claimed it. The walking corpse took one step before dropping, as its head rolled past its feet. Strapping the rifle… Continue

Business District

My unit rotated in to clearing the business district of downtown Chicago last week.  Combat units work on 1 of 4 different rotations- Security, Civilian Escort, Suburban Ops, Urban Ops, for a month or so before being reassigned.  it's supposed to prevent burnout and keep us on our toes.  It remains to be seen how effective it is.  So far, I've only been on Sweep and Clear Operations.

Remember how much i bitched about standard urban ops dealing with Romeo?  I should've kept my…
