YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

WE AS KOMRADZ NEED TO ADDRESS A SERIOUS THING. IT INVOLVES THE FIREARMS WE SHOULD USE. I FEEL WE SHOULD CENTER ON A SINGLE TYPE OF FIREARM WHEN WE MEET UP AND THE UNDEAD RISE. AS IT IS, WE WILL HAVE ALL MAKES AND MODELS OF FIREARM AND RAIDING FOR THESE DIFFERENT AMMO TYPES CAN PROVE TO BE A DANGEROUS THING. SO HERE IS WHAT I PROPOSE.

FOR THE REGULAR TROOPS:

1) ANYTHING 7.62X39 - THIS IS A POPULAR CALIBER FOR SEMI AUTO RIFLES ANYMORE HERE IN THE USA AND THE AK47, AMD, MAK90 AND THE SKS ARE THE BEST CHOICES. BUT FOR BEST PREFORMANCE I SUGGEST THE AK47 OR THE AMD.

2) 9MM AND 45 ACP - ONE THING WILL BE ALMOST A GIVEN. THE 2 MOST POPULAR HANDGUN AMMO CALIBERS IN THE USA IS THE 9MM AND 45 ACP. SO WE SHOULD GO WITH THESE CALIBERS FOR A HANDGUN AMMO ON RAIDS. AND I NOTICED THAT MOST OF OUR KOMRADZ PREFERR THESE HANDGUNS OVER MOST ANYWAY.

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

FOR OUR SNIPERS:

I RECOMEND BOLT ACTION RIFLES OVER A SEMI AUTO. AND TO USE 308 WINCHESTER CHAMBERING. THE REASON I SUGGEST BOLT ACTION RIFLES IS FOR THE AMMO REASON. I RECOMEND RELOADING THE CASINGS SO OUR SNIPERS NEVER RUN OUT OF AMMO, AND TO DO THAT WE WILL NEED EVERY CASING THAT THEY FIRE. IF I TEACH AT LEAST 20 KOMRADZ TO RELOAD, THEN OUR SNIPER DIVISION IS SET. AND SEMI AUTOS TEND TO THROW THE CASING SEVERAL FEET VERSUS THE BOLT ACTION WHICH DROPS THE CASING DOWN BY THE SHOOTERS FEET. AND THE 308 ROUND HAS AWSOME LONG RANGE ABILITY. SO FOR THIS REASON, I RECOMEND BOLT ACTION RIFLES IN 308 CALIBER.

FOR OUR KOMRADZ IN GENERAL:

I WOULD RECOMEND THE HENRY US SURVIVAL RIFLE FOR ALL OUR TROOPS IN GENERAL AS A BACKUP WEAPON. THIS WEAPON BREAKS DOWN IN THE BACKPACK AND CHAMBERS IN 22 LONG RIFLE ROUND. THESE ARE A STURDY LITTLE WEAPON IN GENERAL AND TO PROVE HOW GOOD THEY ARE STILL ISSUED TO OUR PILOTS IN THE AIRFORCE AS A SURVIVAL WEAPON WHEN THEY CRASH BEHIND ENEMY LINES.

i agree on this to. the .22 long rifle is an awsome small game rifle and i to own one of the henry lever actions for this reason. also for survival reasons the HENRY U.S. SURVIVAL RIFLE is a good back pack gun to use to. they float when dropped in water and can be stored in the stock. i keep one of these in my back pack as a fall back gun.
i have found that the Winchester and Remington brands work best in these rifles. they feed great and in a semi auto they dont jam. the next best brand would be Wolf brand ammo. Wolf brand may be made in Russia but dont under estimate them. for the price, they are some of the best on the market today and perform as good as Winchester and Remington as well. my recomendation to you would be to buy 1 box of each. go to the target range with your Henry lever action and try them out. as good as Remington and Winchester perform, i think you will like the Wolf brand as well. i do. also when you get the chance. check out the Henry U.S. Survival Rifle. for no more weight then it is. it is one tough S.O.B of a gun. they were first developed for our pilots during Vietnam so when they would crash behind enemy lines so they would have a means of hunting and personal defence other then a had gun. after the war they were made available to the public by Charter Arms. then when that company went under, the patent was sold to various gun makers until Henry Repeating Arms finally got the patent. and has been producing this fine rifle for the general public since.
you will find that with a lot of brands but it is harmless. the round will still function. so i wouldn't worry about that.
Would you suggest the Remington model 700 for our snipers? I've never used one but I hear they're good. US Army uses the "M24" and Marines use the "M40" variant of the 700.

As for a .22 hunting rifle, I have an AT-22, small, sleek, compact, and stovepipes like a MotherF***er!! They were made by feather industries (which I believe is out of business). Lets just say I dont use it much.
yes. i would recomend them. in fact i would rather they have those over any other. a very close second place winner would be bolt actions made by SAVAGE ARMS. and the calibers i recomend is .308 winchester for ranges of 1000 to 1500 yards and anything under 1000 to use .223 remingtons.

also before i forget. the AT-22. i have owned one of those before. i also had a TEC-22 SCORPION before to. and i had nothing but problems with both because with both i had nothing but stovepipes from hell. in my opinion, they never made a good AT-22 or TEC-22 SCORPION. even their 9mm big brothers are a pain in the ass for the same reason. if you should choose to keep it, then put it up as a wall hanger because it is good for nothing else and replace it for a HENRY SURVIVAL RIFLE or one of their lever actions. you really don't want to trust the AT-22 to protect your life as a last resort gun. trust me on this.
Holy Crap! I was just checking out some online stuff about the at-22 and I saw it for sale on gunrunners.com for $450.00!!!!! I think I paid under $100.00 back in mid the mid 90's! Are they kidding me?!

as a matter of fact, no. that is the going price of this weapon today when and if you can find them. so being they stovepipe real bad. you might want to try to get your money out of it while you can. also being OBAMA is now president and has voted for gun bans before. you might want to get your money plus and get one of the new GSG 5's. i just got a look at one of these Saturday and i like what i saw. they are exact copiesof the H&K MP5 in 9mm but the GSG is in .22 caliber. they fire in semi and full auto without jamming (a buddy of mine has a class 2 and 3 FFL permit) and i love the way they handle. i intend to get me one here soon for my own collection. above is one shown fully decked out.
Just a quick note I saw on on the GSG5's:
http://www.assaultweb.net/Forums/showthread.php?t=56578

I have a slight issue, if I sell it (at-22), I think I would rather invest in some WWII weapons. I just got my C&R license last month. I dont know, we'll see!
Thanks Komrad...

anytime brother. if my advise helps my fellow KOMRADZ and our brothers in arms COBRA, then my reward is given.
if it helps, i saw somewhere on the net one day a speedloader for tube fed .22's like the henry. i shall check around for you and let you know what i find if you wish.
