Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

Hey guys,

I just watched Warm Bodies on VOD. It really was pretty good. The twist in that the zombies can return to being human and showing how they become human again was kind of interesting...I will say it has its funny moments throughout the movie, but the love affair between the zombie and the girl is what keeps the movie moving. Specially when you find out that the zombies reasoning for eating brains...It's a really good movie and I can't wait to find it on DVD to add it to my collection...This is one comedy/horror/love story I will actually own, because the movie was pretty good...

Now I did have to VOD a kids movie so we did Wreck it Ralph. That was pretty good for a kids movie. The whole family liked it. And when it makes my 8 yr old laugh a lot, (which his giggle and his laugh is totally unique), you got to love the movie. The kids want this movie, so I will try and get it for them. For anyone with kids, Wreck It Ralph is a must see...

Well that's my movie revue for now...I will say this about the 2 movies, they were fun to watch and had the whole family laughing...So hope you have fun.....

Like you, I enjoyed both movies.  Warm Bodies is light fare, but that isn't an insult.  Not every zombie movie has to be serious or filled with gore.  What I liked most about Warm Bodies is that despite it being a light movie, there were some layers in the script.  Did you notice the parallel in the story to Romeo and Juliet?  R = Romeo.  Julie = Juliet.  There were two families in conflict -  humans vs zombies.  And there was R coming to Julie's balcony.

My daughter made us watch Wreck it Ralph, and I didn't feel like I was being held hostage.  It was pretty fun, but I must say that I found MegaMind funnier.  Still, it was worth watching.

i likes it too. i was the first one to jump on the hate band wagon when it was first announced but i couldn't pass up a zombie movie and i thought it was really well done. gave us a rare look into the mind of a zombie. we only see them as this one dimensional threat like a force of nature. but it was cool to see the everyday life of a zombie remember reading this one horror comic that had a zombie issue. and it was so different then anything else. the zombies start off being infected by a parasite that makes them act just like typical Romero zombies, slow staggering remorseless for flesh. it even dropped their vital signs down to the point where it looked like they were dead. but the different thing is each zombie was still them selves in side their minds. they just had no control over their actions like a full body paraplegic, but one who gets up and starts eating people. so in like the climax a huge horde descends on this capital building and soldiers are out front firing into the zombies and all along their each screaming in their head no stop don't shoot. watching the other get shoot through the head around them. now that scared the crap out of me. its one thing if you die and your body just comes back as an empty shell. but if your still in their, unable to control yourself. well i think thats just the worst kinda hell i can imagine. so liked the movie especially the big skeleton, corpse fight at the end!

I have seen wreck it ralph it was funny and the ending was a surprise. But haven't gotten to warm bodies yet.

it's worth a watch, different but good.

It is on my demand so I might order it this weekend and check it out.

It's really good...
