Runners?

I like the old-school walking zombie and as many of us already stated, runners are usually the result of infection. There is something so creepy about a dead person slowly ambling at you.

yup, the creepiness of the actual "undead" as opposed to a rabies infected human...

I enjoy both walkers and runners.  I have always considered a runner as a zombie, but infected with rabies or rage virus and will eventually become a walker over time due to decay.

I prefer the shufflers, but that may be me wishing for them from selfish perspective because I find the runners utterly terrifying.
