YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

We've known about the ninth installment to the HELLARAISER franchise for some time now. We've known that Doug Bradley, the one and only actor to dawn the infamous PINHEAD makeup will not return for the ninth outing. But what has been secret is the story and whether they would omit the PINHEAD character all together. Today we found out the skinny on both...

Follow up:

According to our friends at Bloody-DisgustingLa Femme Nikita” star Peta Wilson has been cast making her the first actor to be
officially tied to the film. Wilson will be playing the mother of a kid
who, along with his buddy, unleashes Pinhead from his hell. One of the
kids, we’re told, then has a change of heart, but by then the blood will
no doubt be flowing freely and much pain administered.

Sounds like it will be following the HELLRAISER formula to a
certain degree but here is where things get interesting. In this script
PINHEAD plays a prominent role where in past films he has been more of a
shadowy character that shows up when need be. In other words PINHEAD will be a focal point of this movie. So to anser your question HELLRAISER fans yes PINHEAD
will be re-cast and even worse for many the role will be a significant
one. It will be interesting to see where this film goes. Victor Garcia
is directing from a script by Gary Tunnicliffe.

all we can do is wait till the film comes out and see how it is
