I got me an idea tonight.
As i was watching The Walking Dead tonight and getting the words for the contest they are running. It hit me like a bolt out of the blue. WHY NOT MAKE THIS A SITE EFFORT? Why not all of us work together on this contest? I see nothing wrong with all of us working together and maybe one of us win this contest they got. What do ya say? In it with me? All we have to do is post up what the entry words are each Sunday on each new episode. Somewhere along the line. One of us stands a chance to win as much as the ones going at it solo. Who is with me???

We're trying to get everyone the comics without them having to search down the first issue of The Walking Dead. Because there was a limited number of issue ones printed, even though they had to do a re-issue, the original print of The Walking Dead is worth around $1000.00 bucks. And trying to find an original print is like trying to find the first Superman Comic. It's almost impossible.
Yes I am a little bit of a comic book geek. So yeah I watch Comic Book Men after watching The Walking Dead. And they did have an episode where they had a First Print of The Walking Dead come in and the guys about dropped a load in their pants. They said it is worth a thousand bucks, but then they picked apart the condition of it. There were a couple of minor marks on it, but they went into the fading of the ink and the color. But what the color is only on the Cover and the ink on the inside looked fine to me.
Anyways They told the guy $125, even though they were going to put it on their shelf for $575 or a little higher. The guy told them no and he walked out. He told them he could get $100 to $200 dollars more off of EBay. (LOL)
I haven't seen it posted on EBay yet, but I'm sure he's still sitting on it...(LOL)

I'll agree with you on that. I knew a few comic shops like that. (LOL) Hell if it wasn't for Bob and Jay and the fade of their movie, hell that shop would probably be a struggling comic shop that would close after a year...(LOL)

if i got a comic to sell. i do the research first. then take it and all the reference material to go deal with the comic stores. they just hate that. lol. they count on a person either not knowing what they have. or just being desperate for cash to the point of taking the first offer.
