i got a lot of gear from this company. i got their Mylar Emergency Blankets and ponchos. some of their match boxes. now i need to grab a few of these. lol.

this is another item i use for storing a change of clothing. SPACE BAGS. these little items are great for those two extra changes of cloths. just put it all in one of those bags. suck the air out with a vacuum. and now you have a very flat and very space saving helping hand for clothing. and if you need to bug out and cant use a vacuum. no biggie. just open the valve and roll the bag and squeeze the air out manually. i love them. gives me more room in my ALICE PACK for more gear. lol.

yea vacuum bags are the shit, absolutely water proof too!! keep your clothes completely dry until needed

another thing that most dont think about is making sure their B.O.B. is water proof if not their gear protected against moisture if caught on foot out in the rain. if you line your backpack with a simple black trash bag. it will help keep things like ammo and other gear dry. an ALICE PACK is great for this type of measure because of how they are shaped.

they been using UV light to kill water bacteria on a large scale for a long time now. but these are the only small scale ones i have heard of. a lot of people have been writing off on them as the best yet. i might get one and run my own tests on it to see how well it works. i just hope it works as good as they say so when i do test it, i dont drink something that makes me moan and eat people. lol.
