The Reality of the Zombie Apocalyspe

My whole family, my friends, everyone I've ever met is dead or deadish, I haven't seen a living person in over a year and am quickly losing my insanity everytime I hear a twig snap or a moan I have to think did I imagine hearing that or was there an actual moan or twig snapping? I spend night after night sharpening my machete and cleaning my sawed of 20 gauge I have on 12 rounds left with it I keep looking for food, for water, for hope, but find none, the road is long and hard and there is nothing for me to do but walk and stay alert constantly, day in and day out must be 100% alert 100% of the time

My throat is parched but I have no water my stomach moans and pain goes through my body due to my hunger it's been 5 days since I've ate and 3 since I've had any water I must keep moving, keep searching and I feel light headed I am stumbling I think I'll sit down for maybe a little bit only for a bit
