The call.

Thursday afternoon, a four day weekend I get fri-mon off., being in the military thats a big thing, final formation was at 1600hrs, I'm already to head out for a weekend of camping, I have all the stuff packed in my jeep.
We get our saftey brief from our commander, 1SG falls us out, and I'm on the road to Land Between the Lakes an awsome place to camp and fish.
it took acouple of hours but I finnaly made it to the camp site, good thing I took my jeep, I would not have made it with out my 4x4,. Feels good to have 4 days off.
As I start unpacking my gear. I Forgot my cell phone charger, oh well. Ill just tell them I was in a bad reception area.
monday morning comes around I really dont want to go back, so I start packing my gear up and get on the road back home.
as I get on the road it seems and feels alot like a sunday, no cars on the road no one out at all,
weird I pay no mind. As I roll up to my neigborhood I dont see anyone oh well. I get in, and my power its out that sucks, now I have to set my watch to wake up, I set it to wake up at 0500hrs. so I head to bed around 1700hrs.
my alarm goes off. gosh its five already, shit. I get up put my PT uniform on and grab my car charger and head off to 1st formation. I get into my car and plug my charger and plug my phone in. as im driving my phone gets message from saturday, I pull over and listen to my message, its from 1SG.........
