Diary of an ax murderer pt. 2 (postmortem)

Eli woke up with a loud bang and a sharp pain. "That was my last bullet", the form over his couch said. All Eli could see was a blob lingering over him in the dark of the club. At this range, his flak jacket didn't protect him. He worked up the energy to ask "why?". "My friend was dying. He described you. I found you."

Eli was alone now. He was dying, but he wasn't worried. The pain in his gut was unbearable, though. His eyes adjusted to the little light in the club, provided by the small LED bulb. It was all Eli needed. He had excellent night vision. Then his vision blurred, and he died.

Eli stood up slowly. Carefully balancing on his dead legs, he felt around the room, finding no exit, or food. Eli got angry. He began smashing anything he could find, which wasn't much in this dark. Eventually he found a generator, and began beating on it. He kicked it, punched it, tore into it, and tossed it against a wall. Eli bumped into a table, let out a roar, and flipped it. Then he pounced on the radio transmitter that was on it. Seeing a little more, he ran to the door, knocking over the clutter that he made as a barricade just a few days ago. He couldn't figure out the door, no matter how hard he tried, so he smashed the boards over an apparent weak spot on the wall. His anger subsided, and the glowing light let him just barely figure out words were on the wall. something about humans and death. He couldnt make it out, even though he could see all the letters. His mind went blank, and he just walked around, searching the area, looking over the same places dozens of times.
