About to Snap

Usually, I'm a very even tempered teenager. Yeah, I know, sounds impossible, but I'm not mouthy, I don't snap at people. Sure, when I get irritated, I'm sarcastic and a little rude, but that's about it. Still, when Mell said I don't do chores or anything around the house, I got pissed. Which is a little scary, actually. I'm a peaceful person who tries to avoid fights and who can easily forgive. I wanted to stay in the car, and when she said no, I asked why. Her reply? "Because, Cheri, you don't do any chores or anything anymore." Okay, that made me mad. First of all, I am the only God damn person in the house who does chores regularly. Second of all, I have too much fucking home work to be worried about five dishes on the counter. And third of all, NOBODY in this fucking, god forsaken house does shit--or are even employed--except maybe drink and clean up every once in a long while. I felt so destructive, and I didn't realize I had my jaw clenched together until I got into the car. I caught a glimpse of myself in the rearview mirror; tense, gritted teeth, glare, disgusted sneer. I had to force myself to take a few deep breaths and count to ten. And oddly effective exersize. But I still want to break something.
