Sam, Joe, and Lisa looked down at the weapons Murdoc had left them. Gone. Mike Murdoc, Badass of the year, was gone. Joe solemnly looked down at his feet, and picked up his Kar98. As the groups headed down the halls clearing bedrooms one by one Brendon went into the room that Wiggins had cleared and looked around for something to barricade the first floor doorway with. The closets and cabinets in the room were built into the wall so those couldn't be moved. He heard gunfire coming from the second floor and peaked through the doorway and saw that Wiggins had gone into the second floor with James and Aidan. After reholstering his pistol he looked around and saw that the last of the undead that had swarmed them were truly dead. He took a moment to pick up his shotgun from the ground next to Tom's body and tossed it into the back of the truck and saw that somebody else must have picked up the dead man's Nagant when he wasn't looking because the blood soaked rifle was laying on top of the pile of bags.

The semi-automatic rifle was a basic model with iron sights and a synthetic stock.
