Profile Information

About You?
Well, I grew up in Asheville, NC, and I've always been fascinated by the different aspects of the horror genre. It wasn't until I was in high school that I really became interested in zombies, though, but I'm glad I did.

My interests also include reading, writing and photography, though I haven't been doing as much of the last two as I'd like.
My Opinion Of How/When And/Or What "Z-Day" Will Be...
Honestly? I think that "Z-Day" will probably start in a manner not unlike the scenario from Mira Grant's "Newsflesh" series: scientists will create something with the genuine intent of helping the human race, and it will end up not necessarily failing miserably, but rather having unexpected side effects that will end up affecting/infecting the entire human race. However, on the plus side, the humans in the "Newsflesh" series grew up watching the George A. Romero "Living Dead", which meant that they actually knew how to deal with zombies (unlike most other zombie movies/books, in which apparently no one has ever heard of "Night of the Living Dead", "Resident Evil", "World War Z", etc.)
In The First Hours Of "Z-Day" I Would Go...
If I got any kind of hint that "Z-Day" had begun, I would gather my friends and go on a supply run before chaos has a chance to break out. And for the friends that live on the other side of the world, I would contact them to make sure that they were all right, warning them to gather weapons and barricade themselves in a safe location because all hell was about to break loose.
My Ideal Weapon(s) To Use During "Z-Day"...
Honestly, I have to say that my ideal weapons to use during "Z-Day" would be either a quarterstaff or a metal baseball bat. The baseball bat is easy to swing (metal ones are actually easier to swing than wooden ones), and a quarterstaff has multiple uses in addition to being a surprisingly formidable weapon.
Other Than Zombies I Would Have To Worry About...
Other people. It would be nice if everyone banded together and behaved themselves....but unfortunately, people tend to be dumb, panicky animals worried more about their own survival. Though admittedly, sometimes they'll surprise you.
