- B.M. Hodges was born in Utah, U.S.A., in 1973. He studied in the United States and Singapore where he was awarded a Master's Degree in Literary Studies. He began his writing career in 2008 with the novella entitled, Buddy Action: The Atypical Life of an Everyday Rat which has been renamed in the Second Edition to Buddy the Rat. He recently published the horror novel, Zombie Fever: Malaysia Outbreak. He is currently living in South East Asia and working on his next novel.

- Z-day will be the outcome of a mutated engineered virus created by a greedy multinational pharmaceutical corporation whose original purpose was to reduce the exponential growth of the world's human population that is destroying the earth but got out of hand during one of their secret human trials in South East Asia. We may have another year or two left of our innocence before Z-day.

- to this survival nut's apartment a couple of floors down from my own. I've heard he has a cache of weapons, survival gear and food. I'd get inside, take him down, steal all his stuff and head to the roof where I'd barricade the door and hole up in a tent until the rescue helicopters come. Survival of the fittest...survival of the fittest.

Newscaster: It has been established that persons who have recently died have been returning to life and committing acts of murder. A widespread investigation of funeral homes, morgues, and hospitals has concluded that the unburied dead have been returning to life and seeking human victims.
