    Hey KR, what are the Katanas made from?  I have two hand made Katanas in the straight blade ninja style.  These are 1095 high carbon steel, folded over 200 times and heat tempered.  Both have a full tang.  They are very nice swords and weren't cheap.  Not terribly expensive either.  But, high grade carbon steel in a $45 sword would be awesome!  Most like these are 420/440 stainless or AUS-6/8.  I'll await your repsonse.
