Well, lol, I suppose otherwise they wouldn't have a story. It is just a story after all. Plus, I don't know. They're already letting the Ebola patients mingle with society! lol

Seriously can the cdc be that dumb? Four survivors and you let them go home? They look like death is on their door step and home to the family to spread the parasite.

Personally, I find if I don't suspend reality when I am watching certain shows, I can't let myself enjoy them. So I try to just imagine everyone is stupid and how hard that would make fighting such a horrific parasite! lol

I am watching The Strain but am finding it a hard pill to swallow. I live in NYC and none of the stuff that is happening could ever go down.

And I know it's nuts, but I never saw The Chronicles of Riddick. OMG one of my fave movies ever! So much Karl Urban....*lick* LOL

I'm also looking forward to the online release of Star Trek: Renegades which is a fan funded ST series directed by Tim Russ (aka Tuvok from Voyager). I never saw Deep Space Nine, so I am on the last two episodes of the series.

I started the new original series on Amazon Prime called Extant with Halle Berry. I am interested so far.

There are a number of TV/web series I want to start, including Continuum, Helix, The Tomorrow People, Under the Dome (watched the first three episodes, trying to give it a chance), The 100, Orphan Black, Defiance, In the Flesh and Gotham. here is a list of 2014 sci-fi shows worth checking out.

AND DUDES! What about The Strain!?! I am LOVING it. So graphic and intense. Awesome.

I am a huge sci-fi fan top. The Halo movie was awesome. Would LOVE a Master Chief movie!!!! Lately I have been enjoying a lot of stuff on Amazon.

I just recently watched Battlestar Galactica and loved it. I now have a massive girl crush on Katee Sackhoff! lol She is amazing and I'm not sure about this lady Thor business but if it stars Katee I am so down!

I haven't gotten to see Guardians yet, but I am going to. I am watching Transcendence this week.

I watched an interesting movie on Netflix called Love. Set in space. I liked it.

One of my favorite movies I watched this year was Primer!!!! it is a low budget film by Shane Carruth. He directed Upstream Color which I also liked a lot. Primer is a time travel film and insanely complicated. I could watch it over and over and still pick up new stuff. It is great, came outin 2004. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390384/

I have so very many movies on my list. Today I watched a trailer for Autómata about robots. It's an Antonio Banderas film. Looks great. Based on Asimov's robot rules.

Anyome watch anything good lately?? Anything obscure but awesome? I'm always looking to add to my list!

I love sci-fi movies. Grew up on them. Godzilla is my personel HERO. Planet of the Vampires will allways be a classic. Basis for the first Alien movie

. I don have sat or cable but I did get to see this based  on Halo. It was AWESOME. Now for SYFY channel, they keep showing the same CRAP over and over aaaaaagain. Enough to make you puke. I have seen B-movies that were pretty good and some that sucked. SYFY just show crap. They SHOULD do better. Even their attempts at CGI is suck city. SHARKTOPUS is example of what should not be done. have not seen any of the new APE movies, been told they are good. This group sound pretty good. Glad i have some fellow sci-fi nutz to talk to

The best scifi movie I've seen recently is 'Looper'. I highly recommend it. One of the smartest movies I've seen in awhile. Joseph Gordon Levitt (or however you spell it) was amazing in it. And it's one of the best performances I've seen out of Bruce Willis in a long time.

The Planet of the Apes movie was actually surprisingly good. I'm not a James Franco fan, he tends to drive me a bit nuts. I enjoyed the story and the effects though.

Saw Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes friday and that movie was fuckin' awesome.  The best summer movie of this year.  If you haven't seen it, get your asses over there already.
