George Romero is the King

George is a very special man whose fans love him dearly. What makes him so great is that he truely makes movies for his fans and he knows how to appreciate them with public appearances. I have met him numerous times at horror konventions over the years. He is always warm and looks to be having a good time. George will be at the Saturday Nightmares konvention in New Jersey in March. I kan't wait to see him again. He will always keep it real. He's one of the few "masters" that was never sucked into the Hollywood world of bullshit. You can tell by the way he returned to a much smaller budget after doing Land of the Dead for Universal. Romero will never compromise his vision to suit studio executives. He rather do it small if he has to. I am also thrilled to see a fifth Dead movie koming our way soon. He is the man.
