Wicked Zombies

Mad Max: Fury Road almost with out a doubt is they film of 2015. A long time personal favorite serious of mine, this reboot/sequel really showed us what it means to remake a movie. With so many terrible and lackluster re imagining this year, mad max stood above them all. Which is why i am so happy to say that it looks like it will be getting another run in the theaters in 2016. Only this time it will be the black and white version that we fans have been chomping at bit muzzle for. Ever since director George Miller stated that a B&W version was his original intent. The Movie is beautiful in color, with is amazing back drops countering intense action and bleak atmosphere of the film.

Still we all can't help but wonder what the black and white version has to offer. We ere suppose to be given it as an option on Blue-ray release but true fans found that we were denied that when it came time.

It seams instead Warner Bros have seen this as a chance to re release mad-max in theaters, giving us the true vision we all so longed for. as well as giving people like me who were to hesitant to see in theaters the chance too. I'm sad to say i missed the opportunity to see it big screen as it was intended. i just wasn't sure if it would live up to what i wanted it too. Its rare that i go tot he movies as i hate everything the cinema is about. but for good old mad max I'm willing to endure crappy seats and out of control concession prices. (i mean really when i wen to see a scouts guide to the zombie apocalypse on opening day a small popcorn cost more then my ticket.) Anyway should this all come to pass i hope some of my fellow road warriors will join me in seeing this colorless splendider.

The Road Warrior is one of my favorite movies ever, so I too was anxious to see this new reboot. It certainly was one of the best films of 2015. Whether its recent Golden Globe nod will lead to an Oscar nom too, we'll have to see. Although the bright colors were a part of the film's appeal, it will be cool to see it in black/white, especially as that is something the director wants. I also thought a b/w version was supposed to be included on the Blu-ray. Maybe WB is looking to release a special edition down the road.
