Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

everyone knows their part here in The People's Army. we fight for the greater good of humanity. we will be doing this long after the war with the zombies or the fall of civilization no matter how it may be. but what about when we are to old to serve anymore or become disabled and cant continue to serve anymore? what will you do then? i got an idea for myself but what about you? whats your post war/service plans? my post war plans are simple. to live with my wife and kids and enjoy our golden years on a tropical island paradise for the remainder of our years.

In my old age I would want to help my Komradz who have been injured or krippled. I would spent my golden years serving the people and being the best Komrad I could be.
but Komrad. we all succumb to age. as i stated in The Nexus group. Time is the predator that hunts us all. as much as we want to. we cant serve forever. so when we have to step down, what do you intend to do with the rest of your years? i have given great thought to this. i am 40 now. if it takes 20 years to win against the zombies and rebuild civilization. i will be 60 years old. i also have a wife. if she asked me to step down. i cant and wont tell her no to it. she looks out for me as much as i do her. she is my conscience as well as my heart. because there are times i dont know when to quit. so. having given much thought to the subject. i posted this wondering what their plans were when they had to step down due to age.
I am 51 going on 52 this December 17. You all are a bunch of young pups and yet you worry about what to do when it is time to cool it. [1]. Plant a garden. [2].Raise some good hound dogs and go hunting[3]. Spend time raising ducks. They are funny as hell when they have pond to play in. Tasted good too![4] Have a family. A good woman and a few kids will do wonders for you. [5] Get a hobby. Don't let your zombie hunting skills go to waste.[6] Find a good hidey hole and hope to GOD that the Lady Wolves don't find you when they find out that YOU ARE THE ONE WHO STOLE ALL THE OREO'S![7]Stay in contact with your friends. You will live longer.
Boodrow my brother. you always know how to put a smile to my face. this is what i am talking about. thinking outside the box and when it comes down to it. thrash the hell out of it. lol. this is what i am looking for in our troops. to look to the future. family. homestead. contact with friends. things like this. we may be hard ass zombie killers now but we cant do it forever. there will come a time when we must do the one thing we know is part of rebuilding. getting a spouse. making some babies. providing them a place to hang their coat and call home and let the hard shell killing the dead made crumble and fall again. become the one thing that we could lose if we dont eventually think in these terms be it now or in the future. becoming a human being again. and Boodrow old friend. i think when it comes to the Oreos that it will be a toss up to you or me being on the suspect list. reason being i just LOVE oreo cookies. lol. my biggest weakness next to a GD Twinki. lol. (i know. i know. echos of ZOMBIELAND. lol.)
Even if you do get old in the post war Rhino, your experiance in the Z-Wars will be somthing to pass down. You can help teach the next generation of Komrads, everything from survival, tactics, and of course your weapons knowlegde... Then once that is completed, enjoy the life basking on the shores of your paradise!

this is true and i intend to do so. i am just looking to the future after i have done that is all.

Two words....HOUSE BOAT...when its time, Im stealing someones abandoned vessel, and settin sail!!!!
now we are talking. this is the thing i am wondering when it comes to our troops.
every one works-no exceptions-duty based on ability will be implemented reguardless of age, handikap or physical limitations Komradz-"retirement" is not a word of use in a Kommissar's volkabulary
komrad. a man cant work forever. as much as we all would like to. our bodies give out. its the one thing we all have to face. as i said once before. time is the predator that stalks us all. and time is the one predator we cant escape. even a Kommissar. so it is only fair to have some kind of retirement option for those who served without fail and with honor.
Post war I will be waiting for when my Komradz need me,in old age I will be training the children of the Komradz in survival, what they will need to know and also telling them stories of the Komradz.
this is good. but what about a family? you know, wife and kids? a young guy like you may have some time to start that yet after the z-war. but what about afterward? like i been saying. time is the predator that stalks us all. and that is one predator we cant escape. i intend to start my family ASAP after the "Big One". i will teach my know hows for a while. even teach a young enough replacement. but after fighting to win during years of blood and guts and loss of friends and loved ones. i want to be able to enjoy the family i make while i still got some years in me to do so. and while i still have some sanity left in me to do so. after all, the mind can only take so much before it starts going. and i for one dont want to be teaching and fighting when my marbles start to get egg shaped and roll funny. that can cost more lives then the stinkers. by the way. its nice to see ya again. its been a while.
