Before I started doing much sewing/fiber work I did a lot of Photoshop stuff for fun. I've lost most of it now because of crappy computers. I can sketch out plans and ideas but I don't pride myself in drawing. If I have to draw I can make things that resemble what I was going for. Details aren't my thing though. I mainly sketch for sewing and watercolor painting. I rarely get to paint because it's such an involved process with a two year old running around. The chances of color getting on my carpet are high. I wait to do my fiber dyeing at night time when she's asleep and painting during nap time. I'm still stuck on flowers and landscapes though. So digital art is always fun, less messy and with the internet is infinitely more interesting than it used to be!
