Who goes 1st?

Your at your bank waiting in line with your friend, normal day, all of a sudden zombies enter the bank in a feeding frenzy, the security guard pops off a bunch of rounds and is running, drops his gun you pick it up, you and your friend just make it away, to lock yourself in the vault. You notice your friend is bitten. The vault is on a timer and is set to open at 8:00am, and only opens from the outside. Your safe for now, the vents are still open so you can breath. The power goes out, your friend is getting get sick, you notice you have only one bullit left. How do you survive the night, how do you get out?

U stated the vault is on a timer and sets to open 8am, and ONLY opens from the outside. I assume that you need someone outside the door to open the vault. If this is the case, only options are suicide or play a waiting game. Since my friend is going to turn anyway, he gets that single bullet to the head. Looks like I will have to play the waiting game and pray someone wants to clean out an infested bank and open the door in the morning or some morning before i die of starvation.

If the door opens itself at 8am, i may have to strangle my friend to death and stomp on his head for good measure. Use the last bullet on myself if they zombies haven't left the bank.

Going through a lot
