Zombies and Spearguns

Here's a brain scratchier for yeah, how do you think a spear gun would do against a zombie. their much quieter then a gun, more compact then a crossbow, and i think easier to load. seamed to work pretty well for that guy in land of the dead, till the end there. so what are your thoughts on this potential re-deader. i only ask because rhino brought it up so now I'm thinking of making a homemade one, and want some input on if i should proceed. another plus is from what i have seen their very easy and cheap to make.
