I need to know how old the book you're using is? Because the stats and shotgun building has changed...Maximum range in matters that I've reached with buckshot and still have killing power is right around 19 meters, which is right about 20 yards, using a 2 3/4 inch shell. Now using a 3 inch shell wouldn't improve range by much, but would give more knockdown to its pellets. So through personal experience and trial and error, I'll go with A, 18 meters...
