Zombie Bowling 1.6 Now Available on the App Store

Virginia Beach: March 2, 2009 – AtlanticNet, Ltd. announces Zombie Bowling 1.6, the latest update to the popular game for the iPhone and iPod touch.

The newest update to Zombie Bowling introduces the "Tropical Depression" bowling environment, providing gamers the opportunity to take a vacation and save the world from flesh eating zombies at the same time. “We’re missing the summer warmth here in the mid-Atlantic, so we decided to take our zombies to the beach!” proclaims Eric Johnson of AtlanticNet, Ltd. Also included in this update is a new bowling ball: "Tie-Die".

The next planned update to the game will include new OpenFeint achievements, a new environment and two new bowling balls.

Zombie Bowling is an original 3D take on the classic bowling game, where creepy zombies replace the bowling pins of more sedate offerings. The zombie “pins” are bowled down in much the same manner as in any other bowling game, but any zombies that aren’t knocked down will advance towards the player, who must resort to shooting them in the head to avoid becoming zombie chow. Players start with a limited number of shots, determined by their Bravery Setting, but earn more ammunition by bowling strikes and spares. Players may choose from a variety of 3D environments and bowling balls. Updates will provide more of these.
