Rules are as described, but I will post a defined list soon. Sorry, but my Mom passed away yesterday and I might not be able to focus on this until next week. I'm getting good response on the Z-Day Prank from many people. This could really go off. Thanks for wanting to be part of it, Rhino. Just spread the word and details will be finalized later this month. Feel free to add suggestions.

The current question in timing. April 1 is a Monday. So I thought it would be better to stage the flash mobs on Sunday and get into the 24 hour news cycle for April 1. The problem is that Sunday, March 31, is Easter. While that holiday does celebrate Jesus returning from the dead, it might be controversial/offensive to stage nationwide zombie outbreaks on the same day...

So, the question is, should we do it on Monday (April Fools Day) when less "zombies" can participate (and there is less chance of getting into the 24 hour news cycle)? Or Saturday, March 30? Doing it on Monday makes it a true April Fools Prank. Doing it Saturday allows more participants and gives us the option to compile, edit and post on You Tube (and coordinate simultaneous emails to news networks) on April 1.

What are your thoughts?

i say hold it on Saturday. not because of Easter but just because like you said. if held on a Monday. there would be less people to turn out to them and the last thing we want is to see someone lose their job by calling in sick and being spotted on the news or YouTube later. so i say hold it on a Saturday and coordinate through emails to the news networks on April 1st. more logical to me.

That sounds like good logic to me too. I'm glad that both of us still have our brains intact, even if our heart and guts have been ripped out. Let's do this. The dead will walk and we will be the talk of the nation (at least for a day). Thanks for stepping up, brother Rhino.

As an update, the Zombie Safe Area is on board with Z-Day and will mobilize their global network for the Z-Day Happening. I hope that the Komrads of Wicked Zombies will come out in force too. The current plan is Zombie Flash Mobs on Saturday, March 30, and some on Monday April 1 too (we will avoid Easter Sunday as it is already reserved for another walking dead man). Videos of the "outbreaks" on Saturday will sent to the media on Monday morning, as well as "Breaking News" clips of the flash mobs on April 1. Join me at Z-Day HQ to help plan the outbreaks.
