What do you want in a Zombie story?

ahh...*cracks knuckles* well, varitey is the spice of life, your standard small group apocalypse survival running around killing zombies is always great, but also, a novel like Feed revolves around a politcal scandal in a post apocalypse society (in which zombies are running around), another good story...FML Im drawing a blank on the title, but a husband and wife are in a zombie killing business, they get hired to kill zombies, its a fantastic mix of humor and gorey zombie goodness...

Characters are the most important aspect. The basic plot of mindless zombies roaming around eating people needs to be mixed up and twisted some, other wise it gets stale...but some stories (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) are just blah...

Good info, married with zombies and to flip that zombie is what u were thinking of.  Very good series!!
