Using RATS as a weapon against the undead? can it be done?

In several zombie novels and short stories I have read the exact opposite happened, the rats became undead and fuck shit up. I managed a pet store for years and I guarantee you that you could train them to be a weapon or a diversion at least.

in the movie "WANTED", this russian guy strapped a small bomb to a rat and set it loose to explode. i was thinking. maybe this very thing would help in the process of destroying zombies. i mean picture it. instead of sending whole groups of soldiers. send well trained rats. so what if the zombies pick the little buggers up and start eating them. the explosive is still delivered. all that is needed after that is the big KABOOM right? and if you look at the rat population vs. the human population, they are the perfect choice in my eyes. sure, foot soldiers will be needed to clean up what the rat bombs dont kill. but once the rat bombs were done, the numbers would be knocked down a great deal then before. see the method behind the madness? lol.

Well, unless you find a rat store they won't be the easiest thing to catch.

catching is actually the easy thing. most people have a missconception that you can catch a rat with cheese. this works only in the cartoons. rats are no different then most common field mice. as a result, one can use grain products like say PEANUT BUTTER to aid in the capture of live rats. also oat meal, raw peanuts, or most any kind of whole grain bread or cerial will work to. so. in a city where the undead walk, using these things to catch rats should be no problem at all.

I have at least 4 stores within a mile of me that have tons of intelligent "feeder" rats for sale.

Rats that are predominately sold to feed large reptiles and birds of prey that are kept as pets. Although vital it can be sad at times cause those bastards are way smarter than people even realize. Mice are retarded but rats can solve problems and reason on a whole other level. Up until about 2 or 3 years ago you would walk into the pet store and ask for a feeder rat or a feeder mouse. Now the politically correct term is common rat and common mouse. Really lame.

Ah,I see.Does that mean they're live?Generally people buy/sell them frozen here if they're for feeding snakes.There are rules & forms to fill if you buy a rat live,as they're only alowed as pets.
