Wicked Zombies

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...MAYBE TWICE!

So I have been noticing that are a few mentions of safe places to go when and if the the zombie apocalypse come so that got me to thinking... We have a few posts on my website that we have put up for that you guys might be interested in and I always get good feed back from you guys so thought I will see what you guys think...

The first on is if you are in America...

Supai Arizona

This is finally a place close to home. Well at least in the country. It is actually located at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. To say that it is remote seams to be an understatement to me. On the plus side it is a beautiful place to live. Several waterfalls with plush lagoon like areas. The housing isn't that bad either. Seams to be able to give you a sense of civilization at the least, which lets face it during a Zombie Apocalypse is at the most wishful thinking.

Here are the Positive Bullet Points

  • Population of under 500. If the infection has reached there would be an easier time of clearing them out.
  • The main site has 4 main access points. They are very narrow and defensible.
  • Declared camp ground with abiding utilities, including in ground water source, solar panels for power, full access CB radio system, etc.
  • Fertile grounds for growing crops

    .
  • Well stocked food supplies for long period stays.
  • No roads within 8 miles of the site. You have to hike the whole way, which may seam like a disadvantage but as soon as we get there it will be equally as difficult or even more so for the infected to get to us.
  • Extremely high ridges.
  • Helicopter access there and back if we have a pilot.

This also ties into a story I will soon be posting in Survival about the herbs to look for that will help you with on site meds. The tribe of Indians that live there are also Herbalists and will have access to many plants that will help us with things like pain and inflammation. This will help for those who do not know much about this subject to more easily spot them. It is thus far the most viable place in the United States that has the best chance of survival. Almost 500 people live there every day and have for a long time. Check it out and tell me what you think.

LOL NO!!! Trust me my hair poofs up just thinking about that heat :) LOL... But... it would be a good place for a lot of different reasons... So if Z day comes I guess i will have to sacrifice my hair :)

I was waiting for the 1-800-CANYONS number to call!

Seriously if it was fortified and had a stockpile the Grand Canyon would be a ideal place.

Well I'm glad I did such a good job selling it :)

Thanks what I thought... Its on the list of top ten most remote places in the world... and having only 4 narrow passageways it could be easily fortified. As for the weapons I don't think there is a stockpile but they have a running police station and gun store plus whatever you could grab on the way there... If I can't find anywhere closer before then, that's where I am heading. Also something I forgot to put on there about the helicopter stuff... is that if you live a good distance from the grand canyon however like near some place with helicopters ( I live next to an Air Force Base ) then the distance isn't that bad because the town is all set up for a helicopter to enter...
