rob zombies lawyers claim "zombie" as copyright??

he can copyright the word i guess but i think its a case of FAT CHANCE when it comes to collecting on it. primarily because when the word is used, its in referance to things that are not in conjunction to ROB ZOMBIE'S singing career. hell, if he collected on one person. he would have to go as far back as the old B&W film called WHITE ZOMBIE which was made in the 1940's. the whole concept of trying to collect on that is so far out there that it would be a waste of time and cost more then its worth to him.

Good for him if this is true, but if he tries to collect off of all these other artists work, whether its a book or movie or band, then his life needs to be taken. I don't really listen to his music much and his movies are ok, but I respect the guy, and that would be big bummer.

The word has been around long before he was. I think its a little corny to copyright it. I'll always be a big fan of Rob's. I seen him in concert in 93 and I met him at a LA Fangoria konvention once. But the word zombie is for all of us to enjoy.
