things got a million uses, I used them to fix trucks at my old job all the time, temporary fix of course, but fuck yea...a must have

these are an awesome add to the BOB. i got some. but i could use more. they are so often used here where i live that if you are not there when stocked. you lose out for another week to ten days until they get more in.

another good thing to have on hand is Ranger Bands. they are awesome for attaching gear to back packs, load bearing vests, and most anything else you can think of. now komrads. do you want to know a secret? it was told to me by Vietnam vets themselves as a kid. i had only forgotten about it until now. but the easiest way to get these without paying a whole bunch of bucks is to get a bicycle inner tube. one of those cut in different widths was how they were invented. and being bicycle inner tubes can be found in a lot of diameters. they are an excellent investment for this and cheaper then like in the bulk pack above which priced at $20 on the internet. below here is also a nice little video showing what i mean.

the ones law enforcement are a bit different. i supply them to local law officers here all the time. the nylon they are made from are of a thicker and stronger mix then what was used in this video. look at the picture i posted and you can see this.
