dress your best for the worst!
or in other words your dream zombie apocalypse attire. if you could wear anything after the apocalypse what would it be. and I'm not talking about combat gear or wool clothing. realism of zombie deference don't play a role in this, it's pure aesthetics. you could wear any kinda clothing or costume. this is just a game to see what you think would be cool to walk the wastelands with or rule over your band of raiders in. for me I've been really getting into johnny cash lately, though I've loved the style for a lot longer then that, and i noticed that his look is perfect for this.
a simple black suit sends a powerful image and i always like the idea of using a guitar case as a gun case, like in El mariachi. again black suit, the only addition i would make would be a white armband with my gangs sign on it. and you know basic reinforcements maybe some knee and elbow pads sewn in a few things like that. now again this isn't my zombie fighting outfit or my war gear. more like my everyday clothing once i set up a safe camp. i think this is a fun little exercise to see what our real styles are. cause in the apocalypse theirs no trends or fashion police. no one to tell you can't wear what you wanna wear of that it looks stupid. so if you could dress like anything at all what would be. would you imitate someone like me or go all original? post down below and share you apocalyptic style with the undead world.

i'd also where this ring regardless of the outfit but it goes best with the johnny cash look
i like it better in silver and gold
but the price difference is just to big. 13 for the one on top in stainless, under two hundred for the silver and 14k gold.

and as my signature weapon, though i will use a lot, i will always get my hands dirty with this little girl.
there's something about the strait razor i just love the elegance of it, no knife can compare when you got a man strapped to a chair and you unfold it in front of them before placing the blade to their bare ear.
p.s. props to who ever can guess the movie.

and of course no man in black costume is complete without a crushed cigaret and a good old zippo lighter. I've had this on customized.

finished the prototype arm band. came out pretty good i think. not perfect but i had to hand draw and cut the template out of cardboard that was way to thick.
my printer doesn't work so i couldn't use the stencil i made in the pic above. still not bad. the blood saint rise, I'm so adding this to my con costume. which i can't wait for, next Saturday baby. got my tickets got my spending money not as much as i would have liked couldn't get any this month to tight a budget. but i was able to cut down the travel cost by taking light rails instead of the Amtrak. $16 for two rails and three buses vs 455 for the cheapest train.

believe it or not. my full time dress style will be like this primarily because you NEVER know when you have to battle a zombie or human alike.
first the CLOTHING.
a OD GREEN one piece flight suit. (i have 3 of these in my bug out bag along with underwear and socks)
one piece for quick on/off application and plenty of cargo pockets for storage.
next is forearm/leg protection
TACTICAL LEG AND ARM GAUNTLETS
forearm guards
shin guards
then of course a good set of BOOTS
and my TACTICAL VEST for added storage
now for my defensives
my RIOT SHIELD
my INDIAN GUN STOCK CLUB
my INDIAN BALL HEAD WAR CLUB
and my SPIKED MACE
and my COLD STEEL BASEBALL BAT
my RUGER 10/22 in a BULLPUP STOCK
and my SPRINGFIELD ARMORY XD9 PISTOL and TACTICAL BELT
my KARAMBITS
and for the B.O.B.
my LARGE A.L.I.C.E. PACK
and we cant forget the most important piece of gear.

cool but not what i was going for I'm talking pure aesthetics think of it more like your creating a character for a post apocalyptic movie like mad max or the postman, what you would realistically carry like this and what you think would be cool are different things. i mean come on theirs no way I'm walking through the wastes in a three piece suit, but it's a cool look. so you sticking to this or you got a little something else you wanna show us. come on rhino lets see that creativity.

that would be stuff i would be dressed in all the time. i admit that all the weapons might not be on me all the time being i want to take the old OHIO PRISON as my stronghold. but i have no intentions of dressing in civies that will later fall apart all to quickly. and i tend to dress in military BDU's anyway. so by going from those to a flight suit is a big jump for me.

and just cause I'm interested what if you were designing an outfit for character from say mad max, or fallout. something where only looking cool mattered. you can chose anything at all what would it be. an please stray from the flight suit. i jsut want to see how creative you can be.
