Sad as hell! Buy books is all I can say. The horror genre is not the joke that it is considered and it is fuckin time that this shit is over! My local Borders is not on this list thank your god very much. But yours might be and I am very sorry. Anybody who knows me or reads any of my rambling crap knows my disdain for Barnes and Noble. Even though I still go there sometimes cause I am a flaming hypocrite. Let me know if yours is closing so we can mourn the loss together. Bow your heads Komrads.

FuckinA! We happen to live in good states then cause a lot of people do not have those stores I think. They do rule, and I know for a fact they are kicking ass right now sales wise.

I'd be shocked if this didn't send Half Price Books's sales through the roof and enables them to be able to spread out in more states. It cuts down way too much competition. Coming from an ex-HPB book seller.

I have come to the conclusion that Half Price Books is not only kool as hell, but evil aswell
I stopped by there today and dropped over 60 bucks in a matter of 30 minutes.
But I did walk out with a great score.

It is pretty cool. It's a great place to work too if you don't have a psycho boss. I acquired some really cool stuff while there. You should see how much amazing stuff comes through and goes home with the employees before it even hits the shelf. They have first pick of everything. I saw some really, really rare stuff during my time there. & Some really weird crap too. You're digging through people's stuff and there were some odd things that came out of those boxes.

Wow, that sucks. I ususally go all the way downtown to Barnes and Nobles. I live close to a mall which used to have two bookstores when I was a kid, now they have zero. Is on line shopping taking over everything? Its getting hard to find dvds in stores too.
