no one ever need be with out a weapon again.
so i was doing a little google-fu looking up interesting homemade weapons to maybe add to my costume or my arsenal when i ran across this guys work. Terminal Cornucopia
is one guys mission to show that even with the increased tsa security terrorists could still make weapons to take down planes made only from the stuff you can buy from inside the terminals. passed security checks. he has ingeniously made everything from crossbows to suit case bombs and even a functioning blunderbuss, using only things found at duty free stores. all with nothing more then a tsa safe multy-tool and ingenuity that puts macgyver to shame. his work of using only the most basic and widely available objects to weaponize inspires me. and it all falls so perfectly into the zombie apocalypse i half expect his work to show up in the new episode of the walking dead. take this dollar store incarnation of a fragmentation grenade.
this just goes to show you no mater where you are or what you have to work with when the dead rises you can fight back so long as you use your brain. instead of letting it become zombie chow. i highly recommend everybody check out all his videos form some sick inspiration.

This is under most circumstances interesting. But the fact this guy even made the video is NOT cool. Reason being if there was anyone who never thought about this before. They will have the idea now.

And pointing out that the materials were bought after the security point make it more likely to entice those out there to do it just to show it can be done and kill half a dozen doing it. Hence in my book so not cool.

Hes trying to get the word out to stop stuff like this. Sometimes you just gotta point out the holes in something to the world before it can be fixed. The system generaly doesnt act, it reacts. Try to stop it before its to late.

There are better ways to stop this kind of thing then building it, demonstrating its abilities and also telling what's needed to make the stuff. Telling DHS and TSA directly and discreetly for starts. As it stands. All this man has done is give an idea if any terrorist has not gotten it already. And sadly to say. This is nothing but an instructional video for a terrorist. All I can say is that for once. I would be in DHS's corner if they shut that guys site down and locked him up.

from what i read in an article about the guy he did originally go to the tsa and even the fbi but got really no where with them. nothing hes shown people isn't stuff that already is out there on the internet and other places. he just used item you can find in an airport. really if you have even the most basic understanding of how things work and the mind set to create a weapon you can do it out of pretty much anything. i think hes hoping by forcing the issue and putting this stuff out there that hells be able to stop it. after all it is pretty stupid the that the tsa confiscates bottles of water but they go ahead and let you by cans of axe and other aerosols that might as well be butane. fact of the mater is anyone looking to make stuff like this will find a way to. they dont need a manual to do it. best to get the public aware of it. so maybe that clerk looks twice when that guy buys a hair dryer, lithium batteries and axe body spray from his duty free shop. if the tsa sees that everybody knows this stuff now maybe they'll finally have to do something about it. but really the problem is given enough determination you can make anything into a weapon. look a prisoners man i saw one make a whole sub machine gun just from crap in his cell. fact of the mater is if you want to do something you will find a way. we jsut need better security like maybe put the check point when your getting onto the god damn plane. whats the point of x-raying some ones colon when your just gonna go ahead and send them into a literal hardware store afterwords.

Even so. He didn't need to specify that it is all found at the duty free. And TSA and DHS have taken it seriously. So much so that a memo was issued by DHS to watch him and anyone who goes to this site. And the reason I know is because I did (and most may consider fucked up) call the head of TSA in Dayton International here in Ohio and informed them of this mans site. Now I do know how you feel about a free internet and the freedom to post what one wants and download in the same fashion. But you also know I look at everyone here as family and as a result. I will do what is needed to protect family. As a result. I did that feeling that if I didn't and family here got hurt because I knew of this mans site and did nothing and some asshat took what he posted and killed as many as possible before being took out. Call me soft hearted if ya want to. But that is something I don't wish to live with the difference on. Been there. Done that. Never again on my watch.

i got yeah man i do and kudos for going the extra mile and all. and i know they're aware of his stuff the guy speaks at security conferences all the time. but they have done little in the way of implementing this guys countermeasures. witch could be s easy as an extra check point before getting on the plain. or spotters for people buying these things in duty free stores. or just stop selling all this crap. do you really need a whole goddamn mall at the airport. real why do you need to be able to by quad copters and hairdryers at the airport. now someone making a mace out of magazines dental floss and some random pit of metal is hard to counter but come on. a lot of this stuff doesn't need to be in the airport. or at least put the stores outside of the security zones.

and if you think this stuff is the worst breach in security airports have your dead wrong. the gps signals the plans use to determine where they are and broadcast unencrypted for anyone with 50 bucks worth of equipment to intercept and even worse transmit false information back. you know how in die hard 2 the bad guys had to create their own flight tower with all the specialized equipment and tap into the airports network directly. well now a days any half way descent hacker can do it with a laptop and and a satellite dish. i saw a whole thing about it on a another YouTube video about hacking. the airports do nothing about it. its up to people like this guy to go ahead and show people how fucking easy this is so people like you do just what you did and complain. and if we can get enough people complaining then the government will have to do something about it. thats the point. to get everyday people to do just what you did. get outraged and get this stuff fixed.

From what I know on frag grenades. I would venture to say yes. Otherwise if this were harmless. I don't think this guy would have the attention of TSA or DHD.
