- My name is John Black - Captain John Black, formerly of LifeTech's corporate security force. I say "formerly" because LifeTech has evidently abandoned us. But I'm getting ahead of myself....
What we have come to call Z-day began with a fear-crazed man running full-tilt through the display window of a grocery store. He was cut to pieces by broken glass and in the confusion no one noticed that some of his wounds weren't cuts.
They were bites.
Ten days later, my team was deployed to a mid-size city that I can't name - just coordinates on a map. Our orders were to go in, divide the city into sectors and systematically neutralize every zombie in the city, sector by sector.
Zombie. I prefer that term to the alternatives, whether they be scientific designations or street slang. You say "zombie", everyone knows what you mean. For my money, that beats walkers, deadheads, sleepers, stinkers and all the rest all hollow.
We knew going in that it would be a tough job, damn near impossible. Cities don't have walls, they don't have fences. They have boundaries, and a boundary is just a line on a map. While you're neutralizing "every zombie in the city", new zombies are entering the city and old ones are leaving.
We came in under cover of night - HALO drop. Our intel indicated that a conservative 40% of the population had been infected - epidemic conditions.
We went in prepared to have to kill everyone.
lifeTech hasn't completely abandoned us, despite what I said earlier... once every ten days or so there's an airdrop - food, guns and ammo, medical supplies. At the same time, they're not about to risk their precious hides here in the real world.
Currently I run a safehouse, a kind of Zombie Defense Shelter. We have other corporate types here... medics, researchers, even disposal teams. What we're lacking is resources, especially for the scientists.
Zombies on the outside, survivors on the inside... and the clock is ticking.

- Z-Day was brought about by our own stupidity and greed. No one seems to know exactly who's to blame... the government, maybe, trying to develop "super-soldiers", or a corporation like LifeTech messing around with genetic engineering...

my strange useless addiction is explosive I'm mean from any where from bottle rockets to full on tank busting bombs, when my dad was alive he taught me military stuff and me and him would just shoot off rocket every night, so yeah if you need help learning about gas grenades or anything legal (which is not a lot) I can help
