For as long as I can remember I've always been a child of imagination. I've learned to utilize that gift to craft stories. The type of engaging stories I hope brings readers to a lucid escapism. I've written everything from poetry, short stories, screenplays, my morbid version of the great American novel, to finally comics.
I feel that comics are the pinnacle of the storytelling medium. Considering the plethora of meticulously detailed panels found in a comic book, if a picture is worth a thousand words, a powerful comic speaks more volumes than a best-selling book series. Comics to me are the perfect escape from reality. Bringing characters to life through the dazzling fusion of words and illustration is rewarding in its own right; even more so, if the work captivates others. There’s nothing new under the sun, but if you can get people to look at what’s underneath differently, an appreciation for the work can ultimately be achieved. Or so I hope.
